Plenty of time to plan and get invites out to all your friends! Let's make this year's ride an epic turnout of honor our heroes!

Save the date,

To all of my fellow riders out there; department members, family, and friends alike, The Blue Steel Memorial Ride to Remember (formerly the Fallen Officers Ride to Remember) will take place on July 20th of this year and marks the 10th anniversary for the event.

The ride honors officers from Washington State who lost their lives during the previous year while serving their communities. The ride has taken us as far away as Wapato in honor of Wapato PD Officer Derek "Chip" Hansen E.O.W. 3-08-2014.

This year's honorees are listed on the flyer and will be added to the commemorative shirts the riders will wear during the ride.

The ride will end at Blue Steel Coffee (formerly Forza Coffee) where four officers from Lakewood PD were slain on November 29th 2009, and is now considered a widely recognized law enforcement memorial visited by tourists and locals alike. The funds raised from registrations for the ride are donated to the families of the victim officer and for financially supporting subsequent rides.

If you are not a biker but want to support, you can do so by purchasing a shirt. This year's shirt is a long sleeve light grey tee and will list the names of all previous honorees over the 10 history of the event.

If interested in purchasing a shirt contact me for pre-orders at

Estimated purchase price of the shirts (including cost, machine setup, artwork, and printing) is $35-$45.

For those in the immediate area, we can make arrangement for hand delivery or, otherwise outside delivers will be by mail.
